Terms of use

The rules for using FoundX, in plain words. By using the site you agree to them. Last updated 3 November 2026.

What FoundX is

FoundX is an independent study of the pitches on Shark Tank Egypt. It is not connected to the show, its producers, its broadcasters or its investors, and it hosts none of their video.

Using the free pages

You don’t need an account to read the site. What you find here is analysis, not advice. It describes what happened on air; it doesn’t tell you how to run your company or whether to invest in one. We check our numbers carefully, but some will be wrong, and the lines under each speaker are paraphrases written by a language model, not their exact words. If you spot a mistake, tell us and we’ll fix it.

You’re welcome to quote a figure or a short passage, as long as you link back to the page it came from.

Your account

You sign in with Google. An account is for one person; please don’t share it. You’re responsible for what is done with it, so sign out on shared devices.

Plans and credits

The preparation tools (the AI review, the simulator and “Ask the data”) run on credits. Each tool shows its cost before it runs. If an action fails, you aren’t charged, and a practice session that runs out of credits still finishes.

Paid plans last three months and renew automatically at the end of each term. You can cancel from your account page at any time: the plan stops renewing, and you keep it and its credits until the term ends. Unused credits expire when the term ends. Free credits and coupon credits expire on the date shown with them. Credits have no cash value and can’t be transferred.

The AI investors

In the simulator and the chat, the investors are AI characters modelled on how they behaved on air. They are not the real people, and nothing they say is a statement by them or a promise of investment. Please don’t present their answers as something a real investor said.

Fair use

Please don’t:

  • copy the site in bulk, scrape it or download its data automatically;
  • try to get round the credit limits or the free-use limits;
  • try to find out who someone is after their name was removed at their request;
  • use the tools to harass anyone or to impersonate the investors.

We may suspend an account that does these things.

What is yours and what is ours

What you type into the tools stays yours. You let us store and process it so the tools can work for you. The analysis, the paraphrases, the charts and the design of FoundX are ours.

Our responsibility

We work to keep FoundX accurate and available, but we provide it as it is. We aren’t responsible for decisions you make based on it, or for losses that follow from them. Nothing in these terms limits a right you have by law.

Changes

We may update these terms as FoundX grows. When we do, we’ll change the date at the top of this page. If you keep using the site after that, the new terms apply.
