What we keep when you use FoundX, why we keep it, and how to get it back or have it deleted. Last updated 3 November 2026.
The short version
You can read every public page without an account, and we don’t follow you around the web. If you sign in, we keep your Google name, email and picture, plus whatever you create in the preparation tools, so you can come back to it. We don’t sell any of it, and we don’t show ads.
Browsing without an account
A few small cookies make the site work. One remembers your language, two remember how you like numbers and currencies shown, and one notes which headline figure you last saw on the home page so you get a different one next time. We also set a random device ID that lets us count the free tries before sign-in and stop people from abusing them. It isn’t linked to your name.
There is no advertising or analytics tracking on FoundX.
When you sign in
Sign-in goes through Google. We receive your name, your email address and your profile picture, and nothing else from your Google account. A session cookie keeps you signed in for up to 30 days.
From then on we keep what you make here: the pitch details you enter in the evaluator and the reviews written for them, your practice sessions with the simulator, your “Ask the data” conversations, the pitches you save or pin, and your display settings. We also keep a record of your credits: what you received, what you spent and when.
Payments
Paid plans are handled by Paymob. You enter your card details on their page, not ours, so we never see your card number. We keep the plan you chose, its dates, the amount paid and whether the payment went through.
The AI tools
When you ask for an AI review, practise with the simulator or ask a question in the chat, the text you send has to go to a language model to get an answer. We send it through Cloudflare’s AI Gateway to the model provider (via OpenRouter). The gateway keeps a log of these requests so we can look into problems. We don’t attach your name or email to them.
Who else handles your data
- Cloudflare runs the site, its databases and file storage, and the check that keeps bots off our forms (Turnstile). Request logs are kept for 7 days.
- Google handles sign-in.
- Paymob handles payments.
- OpenRouter and the model providers behind it process the text you send to the AI tools.
- Sentry receives error reports when something breaks. They are sent without personal details.
How long we keep things
Your account data stays as long as your account does. When you delete your account, your evaluations, sessions and chats are deleted and the account is closed. Our nightly backups roll over after 30 days, so a deleted account is gone from them within a month.
Your choices
On your account page you can download everything we hold about you or delete your account.
People who appeared on the show
FoundX analyses what was broadcast. Founders and investors appear as the show presented them. If you were on the show and want your name or your pitch taken down, send us a removal request. We reply within 7 days and act on a confirmed request within 30.
Changes
If we change how we handle your data, we’ll update this page and the date at the top.
